Mr. Ford is a Founding Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager of Latigo Partners, L.P.. Prior to forming Latigo Partners, L.P. in 2005, Mr. Ford was a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Satellite Asset Management. Mr. Ford joined Satellite in 2002 from Och Ziff Capital Management and was in charge of all credit and distressed related investments at the firm. At Och Ziff , Mr. Ford was responsible for the launch of the distressed component of the firm’s fixed income business in 2000. From 1994-1999 Mr. Ford was the Portfolio Manager of ING Barings’ North American proprietary distressed securities and merger arbitrage portfolios. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Connecticut and received an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he has been a frequent guest lecturer on distressed investing.
Mr. Sabath is a Founding Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager of Latigo Partners, L.P.. Prior to forming Latigo Partners, L.P. in 2005, Mr. Sabath was a Managing Director for the Proprietary Positioning Business at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. He was responsible for the North American proprietary credit businesses and investing the bank’s capital in relative value credit situations and distressed securities. Previously Mr. Sabath headed the Distressed Loan Research Group at Goldman Sachs. In this role, Mr. Sabath was also responsible for investing Goldman’s proprietary capital in a diversified portfolio of distressed assets. Prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Sabath was an analyst at Highbridge Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Mr. Sabath started his investment career in the early 1990s when he served as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Sabath earned his MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Prior to earning his MBA, Mr. Sabath practiced as a CPA at KPMG.
